The poems on this website were inspired and generated by the script of Herzog's documentary 'Encounters at the end of the world'. Four important 'inner' themes have been chosen, assembled to bring another - in the documentairy more subliminal - message about climate change and the need of behavioural change. Hear, See, Want and Change. Words that stayed with me during the documentary and that for me represent the inner landscapes of the people in the antarctic landscape. The sentences that include these words formed the inspiration for the poems in this website. The words were spoken by scientists, philosophers, ecologists, zoologists, geologists, a linguist, a musician, and a multiple world record breaker. Different backgrounds, all 'professional dreamers'.
