These images taken
under the ice of the Ross Sea in Antarctica
were the reason
I wanted to go to this continent.
I had six people with machetes
chasing me down, wanting to talk to me.
From the very first day,
we just wanted to get out of this place.
For all these reasons, I wanted to get out
into the field as soon as possible.
Hold on, hold on.
So part of what we want to do here
as an educational opportunity
that they behave abnormally
cause we want to know how these
animals survive, under these conditions.
I think everyone should stop
when they've reached a point where they've done
what they've wanted to do,and today is probably gonna be
my last Antarctic dive, I think.
